Timelines and Weight-loss

A lot of us aren’t living the lives we want until we lose weight.

⁣⁣”I’ll start dating when I’m feeling more confident.”⁣⁣

“I’ll get pregnant again after I lose the weight from baby #1.”⁣⁣

“I’ll buy the clothes I love once I have the body to wear them.”

⁣⁣Life is ready to be lived now. And you don’t need to lose weight to start living it. ⁣⁣

We say these things because they 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘮 motivating… but on top of typical diet programs which already feel like a punishment, we are now punishing ourselves even more by delaying the things we want. ⁣⁣

4 years ago at our friends’ wedding and then us on OUR wedding day.

Mike started dating me when I was at my heaviest weight. He loved me when I was 30lbs heavier than I am right now. ⁣⁣

You don’t need to be at your weight goal to start living life. You can have all of those things now. ⁣⁣

And you can also lose weight. Not because you have to, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮. ⁣⁣

What do you think you’d be doing if you were at your goal weight? Whatever they are…

Let’s start doing those things now ❤️
